Woodend Bee-Friendly Society

The Woodend Bee-Friendly Society is a working group of the Macedon Ranges Sustainability Group that seeks to promote the sharing of knowledge about beekeeping between aspirants, novices, and experienced beekeepers in Woodend and surrounding areas. Woodend, Victoria, has a distinctive climate with long, cold winters and relatively short summers. One aim of this Society is to develop best practices for sustainable beekeeping in the Macedon Ranges. We meet every third Sunday 3-4.30pm at the Woodend Neighbourhood House.
