Trentham Produce Exchange

Congratulations Trentham Produce Exchange for 3 years of exchanging. The swap is part of the Trentham Farmer’s Market held every 3rd Saturday of the month and anyone can join in. Organiser Glenda Holmes  said:

We have swapped a vast array of goodies from backyard gardens - fruit, vegies & herbs, interesting bottled preserves, eggs, cut flowers, potted plants, seeds, worm juice and manure!  It has been an exciting and successful three years.

Not only have we shared delicious local produce, we’ve formed new friendships, helped nurture a stronger community and contributed to reducing our carbon footprint.  We all know that it’s the best thing to know where the food we eat comes from and the more local the better!  Our swap table has also become a ‘talking post’ where interesting conversations happen, and gardening tips and recipe ideas are shared.

We helped Trentham set up their first swap 18/1/14
